Wheelchair User Skate

Edmond J. Safra
Fountain Court

Wheelchair users are welcome to skate at Somerset House at any time!

Tickets go on general sale on Wednesday 02 October from 10.00

Wheelchair users can skate on all public sessions using a manual wheelchair, subject to availability. Ticket prices range from £10.00 - £26.50 (£10.00 - £15.00 for those aged 12 and under) plus a one-off booking fee of £2.95 per order.

Wheelchair users are entitled to one free PA/companion Skate ticket, also bookable over the phone on 0343 208 1497. Our Ice Marshals will provide all on-ice support for wheelchair users at no extra charge.

Please note that in order to accommodate bookings for wheelchair users on public sessions we generally require a minimum of two weeks' notice to ensure we have sufficient staffing in place. If you intend to visit within two weeks, please email visitor@somersethouse.org.uk and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to session availability.

We also hold two dedicated wheelchair sessions across the season, which are reduced capacity and for wheelchair users and their companions only on Sunday 24 November at 15.00 and Sun 05 January at 15.00. Tickets are dynamically priced plus a one-off transaction fee of £2.95 per order for the dedicated sessions. To find out more about the dedicated wheelchair sessions and to book, please call the team on 0343 208 1497. Electric wheelchairs are only permitted during dedicated wheelchair user sessions and must be switched to a manual setting whilst on the ice. Please notify us if you will be in an electric wheelchair at the time of your booking.

The venue is accessible for wheelchairs at all times. A ramp gives full access to the viewing area, the Skate Lounge and The Chalet.

This year we also have a RevoLOO on site on Sunday 05 Jan. This is a mobile Changing Places toilet and changing facility, with an adult-sized hoist, larger floor plan and is staffed by a highly trained attendant to assist you. This service is available to people for whom standard accessible toilets are not suitable.

Somerset House is unable to provide wheelchairs.

All Skate tickets are subject to availability.
